Alexis Raybon wins Food Science and Technology Proficiency

Alexis Brianna Raybon of the Chicago Ag Sciences FFA Chapter in Illinois focuses her SAE on science and research.  Through work with the University of Illinois, she developed an interest in nutrition labeling and food techniques.  She was then motivated to explore soy and its benefits to a diabetic diet and new ways to encapsulate flavor.  Raybon is supported by her mother Beverly and her FFA advisor Sheila Fowler. This award is sponsored by CHS and Kraft Foods.
